Crystal Catacombs

The Crystal Catacombs are located deep underground below the Jaguar Temple. You access them by falling off one of the plateaus inside the temple. While there, you can collect crystal fragments to make crystals that you can sell to Kan the Geomancer. You will also see pieces of broken equipment lying around. If you use Zap on these, they will spit out magic elixir, which can be collected for coins. There are also strange items in here like pages from Montana Jack's journal that detail a plot by Emperor Withering to mine crystals from the catacombs for an evil purpose.

[edit] Chief Pathfinder Burrows

There is a gopher character here called Chief Pathfinder Burrows. When clicked on, he ask a player a series of 12 questions. When all answers are answered correctly he rewards a player with page guides that can be dropped for other players to read and find out more information about items, places, and powers found in Dizzywood and to become an official Dizzywood Pathfinder. There is one catch, a player is only allowed to answer his questions once a day. Once completed, he gives you the option of playing his word game for coins.

[edit] Dangerous Mineshaft

There is a boarded up mine shaft in the back of the Crystal Catacombs. When you click on it, you get a pop up message that says, A dangerous looking mineshaft! If you have a fully repaired mining helmet you can walk through and enter the Elder Mines. The broken mining helmet is found on the ground next to the mine shaft. You must take in to Chanjo for repair and then to the firefly sprite in Sky Town Skate Park before it can be used to enter the mines.
